John Heartfield, German, 19 June 1891 – 26 April 1968, known for his political art photographs, and a very prominent photographer in the Dada scene. He was famous for his anti-Nazi/fascism photographs from WWII era Germany. He was a pioneer in photomontage, the art of pasting photos together, like an early form of Photoshop.
Eric Hosking, English photographer, October 2, 1909 - February 22, 1991, known for pioneering many techniques in bird photography, his career took off after news coverage of an accident he had when a tawny owl attacked him when he was trying to photograph it, losing his eye.
